Dearest Andrew, Josh, Bev, Josiah, Huiqi and Joanne,
We grieve with you on the loss of a great wife and mom. Aunty Wee Kheng was a gentle, kind-hearted and caring woman of God. We are thankful to have known her and to have spent times of fellowship at your home. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time that the Lord Jesus Christ will comfort your hearts with the victory of His resurrection. In the days and months and years to come, may you find peace, joy and rest knowing that your wife/mom is with the Lord, victorious.
“If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”
1 Corinthians 15:19-22
Love in Christ,

To our kind, beautiful Aunty Wee Kheng, we miss you so much. You will always have a place in our hearts. Love Isaac, Hannah and Lachlan
Dear Andrew and family,
We are thankful that Wee Kheng's suffering is over and that she is with her risen Lord in heaven. And yet we grieve with you in the loss of a dear, godly wife and monther. I will always remember your family sitting behind us in church each week, and Wee Kheng's sweet nature, kindness, and generosity. I still use a purse that she bought me on one of your trips to the U.S. I also remember her telling us in a ladies' Bible study that God had used her earlier bout with cancer for her spiritual good, and that He had been so good to her through it. Her confession was beautiful. May God comfort your hearts in the days and weeks ahead, and give you the same experience of His goodness that Wee Kheng confessed.
Much love in Christ,
Stephanie Lanning (and Pastor and the kids!)
Dear Andrew n family.
We hear the loss of your beloved wife and feel the loss and grief and yet rejoice that she is in a better beautiful place. The Lord Jesus had come to pay the price to all who believe in Him. Christ die on the cross for sinners and he imputed His righteousness to Christians and rose from the dead, the 3rd day, to demonstrate His victory over death our last enemy. Likewise all Christian will get to see Christ and resurrect to join with fellow Christians someday. Though for a season we missed our loved ones, someday will be united. Be of good comfort.

Dear Andrew, Joshua, Josiah and Joanne
Thinking of ur mum at the moment. We shared many years as neighbours, mothers raising our children, and doing so as Christian sisters.
I remember her gentleness, kindness and meekness. God knewing your family’s need, and gave her many more years to bring you all up. That was her greatest desire and task. Through her trials, It must have been a joyous relief for her to see you all grew up in the Lord and even married and Josiah bringing up his own children.
My father was also called to glory 2 days ago and his funeral was today. In our grief, we can encourage one another that the Lord our shepherd had led them through the valley of the shadow of desth. As He is risen, Wee Keng and my dad are both with the Lord now, free and in paradise.
Take care and rest in the Lord, dear all.
I shall miss and remember dear Wee Keng, my friend.

Our Heavenly Father is indeed gracious to us that on this Resurrection Sunday (Matthew 28:5-6), He come with His Word to comfort us in the loss of a beloved sister in Christ, a beloved wife, mother and mother in law. May God’s Word this morning comfort you and every of sister Wee Kheng’s friends and relatives.
“By the resurrection from
His place in the grave, the Lord has entered into the grave of everyone of His people; into the place that is yours. And He has sanctified it. He has changed it and turned it, so that now that grave must serve the Lord Christ, and therefore serve you. That is the encouragement and the assurance and comfort that the child of God may have. At the graveside of a loved one, as we bury our dead, who have fallen asleep in the Lord, we remember, as we stand before that hole in the ground, that place where our loved one shall be laying, the Lord has sanctified this place. When He arose out of His place. He has testified that our loved one shall arise out of this place too, on the return of our Savior on the clouds of glory.” Amen🌻
Matthew 28:5-6 “ And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
In Christ’s love,

Dear Andrew, Joshua, Beverly, Josiah, Hui Qi & Joanne,
Our good Lord has brought our dear Sis Dawn to glory. May He also grant unto you much strength during this time. It is a very sad time and i pray that you may be comforted by His Word. I had pleasant times speaking to Sis Dawn in Church, and always remember her pleasant smile and jovial conversation. She was a kind and godly woman. May her soul rest in peace. Loves Bro Ishu and Mahtani
Dear Andrew & family, sad to hear about the new but rejoice that Sis Wee Kheng is in the arm of our Heavenly Father. "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall revealed in us". Rom 8:18. May our Heavenly Father comfort you during this period of time. Doris Lai

A tribute to my dearest sis in law who is …..
Beautiful
Caring
Kind
Gentle
Generous
God fearing
Loving mum and grandma
Devoted wife
My heart is indeed heavy with a multitude of sadness. Suddenly I feel extremely far away from my beloved extended family in Singapore.
I am however grateful to our great God that He has shown His mercies and love in the most amazing way. Sometimes it is hard and painful to understand His ways but the Holy Spirit speaks to us and helps us.
Wee Kheng is ‘Che Wee Kheng’ to me.. ‘che che’ means big sister in our dialect.
Many years ago when I was nearly five or six, my brother Andrew was dating Wee Kheng and he brought me along to visit Wee Kheng’s home. It was his first visit and he was nervous to say none the least!
I remember asking him, “where are we going?” He gingerly replied, “we are going to visit Che Wee Kheng’s home.” I remembered asking who is she? I think he replied in a very shy manner , “my girlfriend ❤️.”
And the rest is history . Many years of Che Wee Kheng blissfully married to my brother and I got to know her beautiful mum, sisters and brothers who are all as generous and beautiful as she is, both inside out.
And so my parting words to dearest Che Wee Kheng : I am very blessed and still feel very fortunate to have you as my dear sis in law.
Very often I tell my friends that you are like a mother to me. Not a naggy authority in my life; but one who has looked after me, took me on nice walks on Sunday afternoons after church at Nazareth Gospel Mission and describing all the beautiful flowers and plants around us, cooked delicious meals for us all, specially cooked food laden with PLENTY of chilli for me, bought my favourite fried chicken wings for me from Amelia’s primary school (yes even when you were heavily pregnant with Joshua at that time ) , our holidays together as a family and so many more precious moments…
And for all of that , I am grateful again to have had the opportunity to share them with you.
Thank you for caring for me, thank you for being there for me, thank you for allowing me to share a huge part of your life and to be part of your little family unit, thank you for your encouragement always and reminding me of how great our God is and his ever lasting mercies to you, even right down to your last days. Thank you for being my dearest sis in law.
On behalf of my husband and children , we will miss you very much and we love you always.
Till we meet again.

Dear Andrew, Joshua, Beverly, Josiah, Hui Qi & Joanne : our prayers are with you at this time. May our Good Shepherd comfort & uphold you by His Almighty Hand. 2 Corin 1:3-4

May our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ be with you all at this special moment. Sis Wee Kheng has gone to a much better place without suffering. Our Lord has prepared a place in his mansion for her with his receiving arms. Take care, praying for you and family.
